Why do I love my iPod mini ?
10 – Good looking
9 – Everyone thinks it is a mobile, so I get to surprise them and brag about it (I am so shallow)
8 – I can hook it to my car stereo system easily
7 – Can always fit into my dishdasha chest pocket
6 – Easy to operate; one thumb only
5 – Now I can listen to Haleem and Fayrouz all day
4 – Solid engineering and manufacturing, no cheap plastic parts
3 – So many accessories
2 – A gift from my best friend
And the number 1 reason why do I love my iPod mini is:
1- I can always take it to bed (stop it, no dirty thoughts now)

When you buy an iPod from the local market, buy it from the official agent or at least make sure it’s a current vintage – I remember when Future Comm. used to sell G2 models (for around 150KD!) long after the G3s were released.
WARNNING! If you want to use your iPod in the car, and you have one of those magnetic mobile phone adapters, NEVER use it to hold the iPod!!! Recently I was at Kamal M. Al-Sultan (an official Apple agent in Kuwait), and I was shown a 2-weeks old iPod that was ruined when its owner did just that!
Car makers who have added iPod functionality to their cars include BMW, Mercedes, Nissan, Volvo, Alpha Romeo and Ferrari, but car stereo manufacturer are also jumping into this “iPod economy” as Steve Jobs refers to it with iPod ready units. Some manufacturers have introduced FM transmitters, and soon maybe Bluetooth based units for car usage.
Personally, I still use a 2 KD cassette adapter, and the iPod sits snugly inside a box of Kleenex ;-)
